The Nokia 6.1 (2018) is the successor of the Nokia 6 which came out in 2017. The new Nokia 6.1 is over 60% better in performance than the original Nokia 6. The phone is part of the Android One program which means you get regular security updates and two years of OS upgrades. The new Nokia 6 also has stock android which is the purest version of Android,with no bloatware and no sluggish skin overlaid on top.

Nokia never disappoints when it come to build quality because this phone is build like a tank. The Noka 6.1 is crafted from a block of 6000 series aluminium and topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 giving the phone maximum durability. The finger print scanner is now located at the back of the phone. It comes in different colors: Black / Copper, White / Iron and Blue / Gold
On the right side of the phone, you’ll find the volume rocker and power button which are easy to access, and they offer a satisfying click when tapped. The phone comes with a USB Type-C charging port at the bottom that enables it to charge from 0 to 50 percent in up to 30 minutes and next to it is a single bottom-firing speaker.
The Nokia 6.1 (2018) rides on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor which is designed to provide a leap in mobile performance, support advanced photography,enhanced gaming and deliver long battery life. The phone comes with either 3GB or 4GB RAM that lets you use run multiple apps at the same time without experiencing any lag.
The Nokia 6.1 come runs on Android Oreo and its part of the Android One program, which means that the phone will receive timely updates from Google and OS upgrades for up to two years from the date the phone was launched.You can expect the Nokia 6.1 to get Android P and Android Q.
The Nokia 6.1 (2018) has a storage capacity of 32GB or 64GB and it can be expanded to up to 128 GB via a MicroSD card slot. So you have freedom to store everything from high-resolution videos to photos in one place.
The Phone comes with a 16-megapixel lens with an f/2.0 aperture and Zeiss optics. The front-facing camera has a wide-angle, 8-megapixel lens with a f/2.0 aperture. The phone allows you to record 4K video and grab high-quality stills in an instant, then zoom or crop without compromising on quality.
The phone runs on a 3,000 mAh battery which is a disappointment on the plus side it offers quick charging meaning you get 50% charge in 30 minutes.
The Nokia 6.1 (2018) is about 25,000 Ksh in Kenya depending on where your getting it from.
