Dice the makers of the battlefield franchise anncounced that Battlefield V will be delayed to November 20th, 2018 Instead of the original October 19th launch. This news came after Oskar Gabrielson, the General Manager of DICE announced that the game will be delayed after the team received feedback from thousands of players who had taken part in the closed alpha tests and in hands-on previews at E3 2018 and Gamescom.
Battlefield V is stated to feature single-player, multiplayer, co-op, and even a battle royale mode, but some game modes will not be available at launch. DICE confirmed that the Premium Pass system will not be available in Battlefield V, items such as such as new maps will be available to all players for free.
The upcoming open beta for Battlefield V will begin in September 6 for everyone but for those who have pre-ordered the game or are part of EA or Origin Access subscription programs will gain access on the game in September 4 instead.
